A frigate I've been trying to retrofit with the new systems and game mechanics until the last couple of updates broke what I added.
I was eventually able to fix the broken rail systems but the weapon rebalancing and new damage mechanics have more or less messed up the gun on this gal
Personal thoughts on the recent updates: I like them! granted a few bugbears here and there, everything else is amazing!
The Health Point system has helped with the whole core drilling issue, "first to shoot the other guys core wins" , when it came to ship battle. Missile pathing is quite amusing to watch now as the whole entity that is the ship is now the target, and not just its core.
Lastly now that armor weight and armor health is now a thing, can you imagine having ship "classes" I'm not talking about size, I'm talking about purpose, like Slow but thick-as-a-brick tanky ships or barely armored but swift and speedy ships.

Biggest of which is the individual weight of blocks, they changed the weight of blocks without altering the mechanics or at least the values revolving around the weight, meaning thrust and mass enhancer blocks, but that's just my personal nitpick. The other quip is the rebalancing and new mechanics of weapon systems again but that's less of a problem as I do enjoy sitting down and learning how to blow massive holes in things.

It still looks like a sexy ship 
and a few of my personal thought, I am not liking what they've done with thrust/mass/energy consumption I cant find anything on what it is that they changed by I cant make small armored energy effective vesicle....at all. I spent most of my day yesterday trying to get a new Imperium fighter off the shelf but turned out that in order for the ship to have shields, viable thrust, radar jammer and weapons...it needs to be a small frigate >.>
